Role Summary
Regional Business Director - Allergy- ENT – Dupixent for the Pacific South region. Lead a 7–10 person sales team of Area Business Managers (ABMs), promoting Dupixent to Allergists and ENTs. Report to the Zone Business Director and drive regional business results by leading sales efforts in partnership with Regeneron, delivering the national sales strategy within a competitive marketplace.
Responsibilities
- Motivate, train, develop and lead an accomplished team of specialty sales professionals – ABMs – to achieve and exceed regional business goals.
- Strengthen the performance of Dupixent within Allergy and ENT.
- Oversee all aspects of sales, managed markets pull-through, local speaker/thought leader development, promotional programming, samples and budget management for the region.
- Develop regional business plans aligned with national goals, including regional and territory strategies, tactics and resource allocation.
- Prepare regional business reviews for senior leadership.
- Remain expert in clinical data affecting promotion, disease state and market trends.
- Spend majority of time in the field with ABMs to support development and provide coaching and feedback.
- Establish positive relationships with key customer segments (internal and external).
- Collaborate with other Regional Business Directors, Thought Leader Liaisons, brand marketing, field reimbursement and other teams to achieve objectives.
- Partner with Regeneron sales leadership to deliver initiatives and strengthen Dupixent performance.
- Create a compliant environment that motivates and develops team members to reach optimum performance.
- Foster a culture that emphasizes diversity and inclusion.
- Set clear objectives, mentor and assess performance to develop future leaders in the sales organization.
Qualifications
- Required: BA/BS degree, preferably in life sciences or business.
- Required: 3–5+ years in healthcare or biopharmaceutical industry.
- Required: Ability to travel to meetings/trainings/programs as necessary; additional travel may be required within the assigned region.
- Required: Valid driver's license.
- Preferred: 5–7+ years in specialty care/biologics or specialty pharmacy with demonstrated sales results; 3–5 years field management or equivalent leadership experience with documented sales achievements.
- Preferred: Residence within the geographic area; allergy experience; strong understanding of the reimbursement landscape and managed markets pull-through; launch experience in specialty care/biologics; alliance/matrix partnership experience; strong commercial acumen; excellent leadership, communication and relationship-building skills; compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.
