Position Summary
- The Regional Business Director is a sales leadership role responsible for executing the overall growth strategy for the Region, leading and developing 6–9 account managers and molecular oncology specialists, ensuring corporate initiatives and growth objectives are achieved.

Job Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed direct sales revenue targets.
- Develop regional sales strategy to achieve revenue objectives.
- Establish senior-level relationships within key accounts.
- Build, train, and manage a sales team to meet/exceed volume and revenue objectives.
- Provide marketplace feedback to support sales strategy.
- Share industry trends, best practices, and competitive insights with management/staff.
- Build cross-functional relationships to support product development, pipeline management, compensation plans, sales reporting, and revenue forecasting.
- Communicate relevant regional revenue and customer/account information with the Area Vice President of Oncology Sales.
- Analyze opportunities and develop strategic sales plans for assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
- Advise senior management on client/market concerns.
- Maintain core knowledge of competitive products/services/technology and reimbursement/billing issues.
- Support physicians with ordering and interpretation of the CMI platform and QC report quality/accuracy (may require access to PHI).
- Maintain assigned company assets; submit required reports (travel, trip/activity/monthly reports, expenses, service reports).
- Provide meeting/trade show support as required.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5+ years of people leadership experience and understanding of the oncology, pathology and/or diagnostic market.
- Strong understanding of physician/client needs and how to deliver service and technology solutions for oncology.
- Proven success with large, global brand marketers and agencies.
- Strong problem-solving under pressure and clear communication.
- Healthcare business policy/practice knowledge.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and internet for business use.
- Strong written/verbal communication; self-motivated and detail-oriented.
- Experience working in complex matrix teams.
- Strong process analysis and root cause analysis.
- Strong relationship-building across organizational levels.
- Valid driver’s license; reliable vehicle and insurance meeting company requirements.
- Willingness to travel; spend ~50% of time in the field meeting clients/prospects.
