Regional Associate Director (RAD) – Pulmonary Fibrosis/Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD)

Responsibilities
- Manage a regional team of Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs).
- Ensure regional disease and product medical needs are identified.
- Oversee timely, frequent interactions with Thought Leaders and HCPs aligned with medical strategies; ensure appropriate responses to unsolicited medical/scientific questions.
- Participate in Field Medical Leadership meetings; translate medical objectives into regional/MSL performance objectives and monitor performance.
- Direct MSL activities across Medical, Marketing, and Sales within legal/compliance policies; provide input on MSL resourcing and strategic feedback.
- Train and support MSL planning/conduct of scientific interactions; ensure accurate, fair, balanced, objective communication.
- Oversee MSL support for CRO-sponsored and BMS-sponsored interventional and non-interventional research, including study feasibility/site identification, investigator collaboration, pharmacovigilance document adherence, and adverse event escalation.
- Manage MSL performance assessments, coaching, development plans, and onboarding/therapeutic training; ensure compliance training and adverse event reporting understanding.

Position requirements (qualifications/skills)
- Terminal degree (MD, PharmD, or PhD preferred).
- Deep knowledge of IPF and related fibrotic lung diseases; diagnosis, treatment guidelines, and emerging therapies.
- Clinical experience in interstitial lung disease; 5–7 years clinical/pharma experience.
- Field medical experience (preferred 5+ years); lead in cross-functional, highly matrix environments; coach/mentor distributed teams; autonomy.
- Understanding of clinical research principles and US healthcare/pharma practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication; independent work; travel required.
- Field-based: live in territory or within 50 miles of the border.
