Key Responsibilities:
- Drive growth of Novartis Neuromuscular brands, ensuring engagements comply with legal/regulatory standards and approved labeling and uphold ethical practices.
- Lead account management across the patient journey, supporting from enrollment through infusion where appropriate.
- Educate stakeholders on clinical data (efficacy/safety) and translate complex information into actionable insights.
- Develop tailored account strategies with providers/institutions; manage full treatment center workflow (enrollment, reimbursement, distribution) with a service-excellence focus.
- Build relationships with hospital staff and access stakeholders; guide insurance requirements and address access challenges.
- Use payer-specific coverage/access expertise to identify and resolve barriers to timely product availability.
- Assess territory dynamics to optimize processes, expand treatment networks/referral pathways, and support long-term growth.
- Coordinate site readiness, patient onboarding, product delivery, and reimbursement with cross-functional partners.
- Support the end-to-end prescription journey with coordination, clarity, and exceptional customer experience.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree (4-year).
- 8+ years in pharma/biotech/healthcare (or similar), including meaningful payer/reimbursement engagement with geographically dispersed teams.
- Track record supporting launch of specialty/biologic therapies; familiarity with specialty pharmacy and/or Buy & Bill; strong operational/workflow and patient access knowledge.
- Strong understanding of the US healthcare ecosystem (within 5 years).
- Proven ability to manage complex, high-impact accounts and lead through influence in a matrix environment.
- Strong business acumen, technology/digital engagement knowledge.
- Exceptional communication, listening, relationship-building, strategic thinking, and trust-building.
- Reside within territory or within 50 miles of the border; travel 60β80%; valid driverβs license.
Desirable Requirements:
- 3+ years in commercialization of rare disease or specialty biopharmaceutical therapies with achievement of business objectives.
- Prior key account experience; cross-functional experience; institutional selling experience in neuromuscular; experience preparing markets/teams for launches or indication expansions.
