Key Responsibilities:
- Drive growth of Novartis Neuromuscular brands in compliance with approved labeling and legal/regulatory/industry standards; uphold ethical communications.
- Lead account management across the patient journey (enrollment through infusion where appropriate).
- Educate stakeholders on clinical data (efficacy/safety) and translate complex information into actionable insights.
- Develop tailored account strategies with healthcare providers; manage treatment center workflow end-to-end (enrollment, reimbursement, distribution) with service excellence.
- Build relationships with hospital staff and access stakeholders to address insurance requirements and access challenges.
- Use payer policy/access expertise to identify and resolve barriers to timely product availability.
- Assess territory dynamics to optimize processes, expand networks/referral pathways, and support long-term growth.
- Coordinate site readiness, patient onboarding, product delivery, and reimbursement.
- Support the end-to-end prescription journey with coordination, clarity, and exceptional customer experience.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree.
- 8+ years in pharma/biotech/healthcare (or similar), including payer/reimbursement engagement; strong field leadership.
- Track record supporting specialty/biologic launches; knowledge of specialty pharmacy and/or Buy & Bill; patient access operations.
- Strong US healthcare ecosystem understanding; recent access experience.
- Ability to manage complex high-impact academic/integrated accounts and lead through influence in a matrix.
- Strong communication, listening, relationship-building, and strategic thinking.
- Reside in territory or within 50 miles; travel 60β80%; valid driverβs license.
- Driving is essential; must have fully valid/unrestricted license.
Desirable Requirements:
- 3+ years rare disease/specialty biopharma commercialization; achievements against objectives.
- Experience with key accounts and cross-functional collaboration; neuromuscular institutional selling; launch/indication expansion.
Compensation/Benefits (high level):
- Salary expected $168,000β$312,000/year; performance cash incentive; possible annual equity; US comprehensive benefits and time off.
