Key Responsibilities:
- Drive growth of Novartis Neuromuscular brands while ensuring all engagements comply with approved labeling and legal/regulatory/industry standards and ethical practices.
- Lead account management across the patient journey (enrollment through infusion where appropriate).
- Educate key stakeholders on clinical data (efficacy/safety) by translating complex information into actionable insights.
- Collaborate with providers/institutions on tailored account strategies; manage full treatment center workflow (enrollment through reimbursement and distribution) with a focus on service excellence.
- Build relationships with hospital staff and access stakeholders to guide insurance requirements and proactively address access challenges.
- Maintain expertise in payer coverage policies and access procedures; identify and resolve barriers to ensure timely product availability.
- Assess territory dynamics to optimize processes and expand treatment networks/referral pathways.
- Coordinate with cross-functional partners on site readiness, patient onboarding, product delivery, and reimbursement.
- Support the end-to-end prescription journey with strong coordination and customer experience.

Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (4-year).
- 8+ years in pharma/biotech/healthcare (or similar), including meaningful payer/reimbursement landscape engagement.
- Track record supporting launch of specialty/biologic therapies; familiarity with specialty pharmacy and/or Buy & Bill; knowledge of patient access strategies and operational workflows.
- Strong US healthcare ecosystem understanding (within 5 years) with recent access experience.
- Ability to manage complex, high-impact academic/integrated system accounts in a matrixed environment.
- Strong business acumen; expertise in technology/digital engagement.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building; ability to turn insights into actionable plans.
- Reside within territory or within 50 miles of the territory border; travel 60–80%; valid driver’s license (driving is essential).

Desirable Requirements:
- 3+ years rare disease/specialty biopharma commercialization with achievement of strategic objectives.
- Prior key account and cross-functional (Sales/Marketing/Medical/Market Access) experience; neuromuscular institutional selling; launch/indication expansion preparation.

Benefits:
- Salary expected to range from $168,000–$312,000/year; performance-based cash incentive and possible annual equity; comprehensive benefits and time off for US-eligible employees.
