Key Responsibilities:
- Drive growth of Novartis Neuromuscular brands by ensuring engagements align with approved labeling and legal/regulatory/industry standards; uphold ethical communication.
- Lead account management across the patient journey (from enrollment through infusion where appropriate).
- Educate stakeholders on clinical data (efficacy/safety) and translate complex information into actionable insights.
- Partner with providers/institutions to develop tailored account strategies; manage full treatment center workflow (enrollment through reimbursement and distribution) with a focus on service excellence.
- Build relationships with hospital staff and access stakeholders; guide on insurance requirements and address access challenges.
- Use payer coverage and access expertise to proactively identify/resolve barriers to ensure timely product availability.
- Assess territory dynamics to optimize processes and expand networks/referrals to improve account experience and support growth.
- Coordinate cross-functionally on site readiness, patient onboarding, product delivery, and reimbursement.
- Support the end-to-end prescription journey with coordination, clarity, and exceptional customer experience.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelorโs degree.
- 8+ years in pharma/biotech/healthcare or similar with experience engaging payers/reimbursement in large geographically dispersed teams.
- Track record supporting specialty/biologic therapy launches; familiarity with specialty pharmacy and/or Buy & Bill; knowledge of patient access strategies.
- Strong US healthcare ecosystem understanding within 5 years.
- Proven ability to manage complex high-impact accounts and lead in matrix environments via influence.
- Strong business acumen; expertise in technology and digital engagement.
- Excellent communication, listening, relationship-building, and strategic thinking.
- Reside within the territory or within 50 miles of the territory border; travel 60โ80%; valid driverโs license.
Desirable Requirements:
- 3+ years rare disease/specialty biopharma commercialization with achievement of business objectives.
- Experience supporting key accounts; cross-functional experience (Sales/Marketing/Medical/Market Access); strong institutional selling knowledge in neuromuscular; launch/indication expansion experience.
Compensation/Benefits (explicitly stated):
- Salary range: $168,000โ$312,000/year; performance cash incentive; possible annual equity awards; comprehensive US benefits and time off.
