Key Responsibilities:
- Drive growth of Novartis Neuromuscular brands; ensure compliant, ethical engagements aligned with approved labeling and legal/regulatory/industry standards.
- Lead account management across the patient journey (enrollment through infusion where appropriate).
- Educate stakeholders on clinical data (efficacy/safety) by translating complex information into actionable insights.
- Partner with providers/institutions to create tailored account strategies; manage end-to-end treatment center workflow (enrollment, reimbursement, distribution) with a strong focus on service excellence.
- Build relationships with hospital staff, clinical leaders, care teams, and access stakeholders; guide insurance requirements and address access challenges.
- Use payer coverage/access expertise to proactively identify and resolve barriers to timely product availability.
- Assess territory dynamics to improve processes, expand treatment networks/referral pathways.
- Coordinate site readiness, patient onboarding, product delivery, and reimbursement with cross-functional partners.
- Support the end-to-end prescription journey with coordination, clarity, and exceptional customer experience.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelorโs degree.
- 8+ years in pharma/biotech/healthcare (or similar) with meaningful payer/reimbursement engagement and experience leading large, geographically dispersed teams.
- Track record supporting launches of specialty/biologic therapies; knowledge of specialty pharmacy and/or Buy & Bill; operational workflows and patient access strategies.
- Strong US healthcare ecosystem knowledge (within last 5 years).
- Experience managing complex, high-impact accounts; influence leadership in matrixed environments.
- Strong customer/cross-functional understanding, business acumen, and technology/digital engagement.
- Exceptional communication, listening, relationship-building, and strategic thinking.
- Live within territory or within ~50 miles of territory border; travel 60โ80%; valid driverโs license.
Desirable Requirements:
- 3+ years in commercialization of rare disease/specialty biopharma with consistent attainment of business objectives.
- Prior key account experience plus cross-functional experience (e.g., Sales/Marketing/Medical/Market Access); institutional neuromuscular selling; launch/indication expansion readiness.
