POSITION SUMMARY
- Regional Account Manager (RAM) to run a regional business in South Carolina and Georgia; build and execute an approved, compliant go-to-market plan.
JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Increase HCP awareness and understanding of promoted Mirum product.
- Build relationships with key thought leaders and customers to create HCP advocates.
- Take an entrepreneurial, accountable approach to maximize/exceed goals.
- Understand rare disease healthcare trends and mitigate account access challenges.
- Use organizational and analytical skills to optimize growth and develop strategic, actionable business plans.
- Demonstrate and enhance compliance, integrity, and transparency.
- Develop and maintain partnerships across commercial, compliance, and medical affairs.
- Drive change through influence and innovation.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years progressive healthcare/biotech business experience, including 3+ years field-based account management, sales, and field reimbursement.
- Successful biotech/pharma product launch experience.
- Experience in rare/niche markets with a track record of exceeding goals.
- Bachelorβs degree or higher.
PREFERRED
- Solid GI/hepatology relationships.
- Pediatric experience.
- Competitive marketplace experience.
- Experience calling on interdisciplinary care teams in hospitals, academic institutions, and clinics.
