Key Responsibilities:
- Support accounts in the West region (TX, CA, AZ, OK, NM, CO, UT, NV, OR, WA, ID, MT, WY, AK).
- Develop regional tactical plans to address managed markets issues and achieve/exceed sales and profitability goals; maintain/improve access at regional managed markets accounts.
- Understand pricing/contracting, supply chain, and payor reimbursement; teach internal partners to build a โbest in classโ sales force.
- Lead strategic and tactical planning at Area, District, and Territory levels to drive business pull-through in assigned geographies.
- Develop preliminary Respiratory contracting approaches for assigned accounts; maintain/improve access to support sales targets.
- Manage strategic accounts across DME customers, Hospitals, IDNs, ACOs, consultant pharmacists, nursing homes/home health agencies; heavy focus on Lincare accounts.
- Build relationships with customers; communicate to promote approved contract compliance and product use.
- Maintain customer account profiles and tracking information; monitor product usage to identify buying trends.
- Update contract information (pricing, addenda, member additions/deletions).
- Prospect for new business and relay market/account info to National Director and home office support.
- Complete required paperwork/administrative tasks (e.g., expense reports, supply requests, account profiles, trainings).
- Analyze weekly/monthly sales results using SAP/PowerBI and lead action plans.
- Communicate Respiratory opportunities/issues within the region; provide internal/external presentation support as needed.
- Provide primary/secondary support to geographically non-aligned regional accounts.
- Travel up to 50%.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree (or equivalent) + 6 yearsโ experience; 7+ years in pharmaceutical industry and Managed Markets preferred.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry: pricing/contracting, supply chain, and payor reimbursement; strong customer account/product/internal department knowledge.
- Strong analytical, written/verbal communication, interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; strong organization and time management.
- Proficiency in English.
Salary range: $132,000โ$198,000.
