Role: Regional Account Manager (RAM) focusing on disease-state education and market development for Hepatitis Delta Virus (HDV). Primary objectives include raising awareness among healthcare providers, supporting account readiness, and establishing pathways for patient identification and management in a pre-launch setting. Responsibilities encompass educating Infectious Disease specialists and community providers about HDV and HBV, developing account strategies for healthcare institutions, building relationships with key opinion leaders, and collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Market Access to inform market activation. The role also involves assessing and enhancing diagnostic and referral infrastructure, supporting disease education and screening initiatives, and contributing to launch readiness efforts. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required, with an advanced degree preferred; 5+ years in biotech or pharma, ideally with experience in rare, infectious, or hepatology diseases, particularly Hepatitis B. Demonstrated success in managing complex healthcare systems, engaging KOLs, and working in pre-launch or market development roles. Strong scientific communication skills and high integrity are essential. Work entails up to 70% overnight travel and requires a valid driver’s license. High-value specifics include focus on HDV, a severe viral hepatitis co-infection, with a market gap due to the absence of approved therapies in the U.S., and responsibilities spanning clinical education, strategic account planning, and market activation in the Midwest region.
