Region Associate Director (RAD), Neurology (Southeast)
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a high-performing field-based Medical Science Liaison (MSL) team; identify talent, onboard/train staff, retain talent, develop succession and individual development plans, coach/mentor, and conduct performance assessments.
- Serve as a Disease Area reference point: update DA knowledge, ensure training participation, and enable compliant medical information exchanges.
- Provide national-level medical leadership and account management for 2+ accounts; develop and execute medical account plans and relationship management.
- Manage internal and external stakeholder engagement; coordinate scientific support aligned to FM plans; oversee speaker program activities (if applicable).
- Drive customer-centric medical insights and support medical planning/strategy (medical initiatives/1โ2 per year), including Product FM Plan and Region Field Medical Plans; input to Medical Product/Disease State Plans.
- Support clinical trial/site activities and pharmacovigilance requirements; ensure team compliance with AE identification/reporting.
- Ensure role compliance with BMS Standards, PhRMA Code, ICH/GCP, and applicable FDA laws/regulations.
Required Experience/Qualifications
- MD/PharmD/PhD/APP/PA/NP with experience in neuroscience/mental health/Alzheimerโs or broad medical background plus relevant pharma experience.
- Extensive healthcare and access environment knowledge.
- 8+ years clinical/pharma environment, including 6+ years Field Medical leadership/management and medical planning.
