Region Associate Director (RAD), Neurology (Central)
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a field-based Medical Science Liaison (MSL) team (Neurology): hiring, onboarding/training, succession planning, performance management, coaching/mentoring, talent retention, and measurable team objectives.
- Monitor disease area knowledge and ensure compliant, timely medical exchanges.
- Provide national-level leadership: develop/execute medical initiatives and account plans (2+ accounts), and manage relationships.
- Lead stakeholder management with internal partners and external experts (thought leaders, payers, HCPs): speaker programs (if applicable), expert networks, and thought leader profiling.
- Drive customer-centric medical insights and integrate insights into medical planning.
- Contribute to medical plan/strategy (medical matrix participation, develop product and region field medical plans, 1โ2 medical initiatives/year).
- Support medical resources and therapeutic training plans.
- Account management, clinical trial/site identification and support, and pharmacovigilance readiness (AE identification/reporting).
Required Qualifications/Experience:
- MD, PharmD, PhD, APP, PA, or NP with experience in neuroscience/mental health/Alzheimerโs or broad medical background and relevant pharma experience.
- Extensive knowledge/experience in healthcare and access environments.
- 8+ years clinical/pharma environment; 6+ years Field Medical experience; demonstrated leadership and medical planning.
Knowledge/Skills Desired:
- Neurology/Alzheimerโs/mental health expertise; US healthcare system; clinical trial knowledge; compliance standards; strong communication/presentation; matrix leadership; account management; strategic thinking; MS Office/technical acumen.
Experience Desired (selection):
- Coaching/mentoring; lead national field medical initiatives; autonomously execute; connect with external experts; risk/compliance management; Product/JV/Launch Point experience.
Travel: Frequent field travel; additional home-office stakeholder time.
Compensation/Benefits (explicit):
- US (Field) $223,300โ$270,581; eligibility for incentive cash/stock.
