Reference Test Clerk

Role: Reference Test Clerk responsible for specimen preparation, processing, and troubleshooting in a clinical laboratory setting. Objectives: ensure accurate specimen handling, timely test processing, and effective customer support. Responsibilities: prepare and sort specimens, resolve sample issues, facilitate test requests and result release, assist clients, and maintain lab safety and records. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED; preferred experience of 3+ months in a clinical/laboratory environment; comfort with biological specimens; basic computer skills; strong communication, organization, and attention to detail. High-Value: clinical laboratory environment, specimen handling, troubleshooting, and support functions. WorkSetup: San Diego, CA; Tuesday-Saturday, 1:00 am-9:30 am; overtime and rotating weekends.
