Patient Advocacy
The Redemplo Reimbursement Navigator (RRN) manages assigned healthcare provider accounts and patient cases within a defined geographic region to advance patient access and reimbursement for Redemplo. The RRN provides approved reimbursement education, facilitates patient access, resolves coverage/reimbursement challenges, and supports patient case pull-through, collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Market Access, Specialty Pharmacy, HUB partners, and other approved stakeholders while ensuring compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Advance patient access and reimbursement through approved education, reimbursement support, and pull-through.
- Educate healthcare providers/office staff on reimbursement processes, coverage pathways, financial assistance, and patient support services.
- Analyze complex reimbursement/access issues and develop strategies within approved policies and compliance guidelines.
- Coordinate with HUB, specialty pharmacy, and approved partners for enrollment, benefits investigations, prior authorizations, appeals, denied claims, and case management.
- Serve as local reimbursement/access expert for Sales, Market Access, and regional leadership.
- Develop/execute strategic territory plans; build collaborative relationships; identify barriers and implement compliant solutions.
- Document interactions and maintain accurate records; manage travel/expenses per guidelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree (healthcare/life sciences/nursing or related preferred).
- 7+ years pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience.
- 3+ years in field reimbursement and/or patient access/reimbursement, specialty medication access solutions, specialty pharmacy, advanced specialty pharma sales, and/or patient support services.
- Knowledge of pharmacy benefit reimbursement; ability to analyze/resolve complex reimbursement and patient access challenges.
- Reside within assigned territory; valid driverβs license; ability to travel extensively.
Preferred:
- Experience with rare disease, cardiometabolic, or specialty products; commercial launch support.
- Strong knowledge of payer coverage/reimbursement, specialty pharmacy, and patient support programs.
- Strong presentation/communication/relationship-building; strategic planning/case/territory management; cross-functional collaboration; analytical/problem-solving/organizational skills; high emotional intelligence; accountability/ownership/adaptability/customer focus; thrive in fast-paced, compliant environments.
Compensation:
- California pay range: $160,000β$170,000.
