Rare Disease Specialist- Texas North

Role: Rare Disease Specialist focusing on the commercialization of DCCR for Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS). Objectives include building market awareness, developing territory strategies, and fostering long-term relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs), caregivers, and families to support DCCR adoption. Responsibilities encompass engaging pediatric and adult endocrinologists, psychiatrists, and primary care providers; conducting regular field visits; gathering market insights; and collaborating across commercial functions to meet sales targets. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required, with 5-7+ years in pharma sales, preferably with rare disease or specialty experience; launch experience and knowledge of pediatric endocrinology or diabetes are highly preferred. Skills include strong communication, analytical abilities, emotional intelligence, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment. Preferred: advanced degrees, background in nursing, social work, nutrition, regulatory/compliance training, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
