How you will contribute:
- Achieve sales quotas by driving new patient starts, sales in outpatient infusion centers and hospitals, and retention of patients on Takeda augmentation treatment.
- Conduct customer engagements: deliver sales presentations; provide technical and administrative product information; educate on neuromuscular conditions and Takeda support resources.
- Understand influence points affecting diagnosis, treatment, and Rx/referral/order.
- Participate in community education events and conferences for healthcare professionals and patients.
- Focus on HCPs (Allergy/Immunology, Pulmonology, Infectious Disease, select Internal Medicine/Primary Care, and Neurologists); educate/inform HCPs on Takeda brands for Primary Immune Deficiency and CIDP.
- Analyze local/regional business and managed markets trends to build long- and short-term goals and a successful business plan.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Patient Services, Alternate Site Team, Integrated Health Systems, Market Access, and National Accounts to improve customer satisfaction and pull through opportunities.
- Work compliantly in a matrix environment (Patient Services, Specialty Infusion Pharmacies, Managed Markets) including handling confidential patient information.
- Follow PTRB (Patient, Trust, Reputation, Business) in decision-making.

Minimum requirements:
- BS/BA.
- 3+ years pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device selling and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years successful selling experience at Takeda.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Navigate complex selling environments; influence decision makers in key accounts.
- Business acumen, strategic planning, territory planning, account management, prioritization.
- Understand payer access and reimbursement at territory/regional/state levels.
- Adaptability; learning agility; ability to develop and apply clinical expertise compliantly.
- Reside within the territory/supporting geography.
Preferred requirements:
- 5+ years rare disease (preferred) pharmaceutical sales.
- Experience coordinating with patient access and market access teams.
- Relevant clinical/industry experience; consultative/needs-based selling.
- Experience in highly regulated marketplace.
- Leverage emerging technologies/digital tools and AI-enabled processes.
Travel requirements:
- Ability to drive/fly to accounts; occasional overnight travel up to 25–50%.
Training requirements:
- Must pass mandatory product training (written and oral exams). During training (non-exempt), eligible for overtime only per applicable law; no sales incentives/production bonuses during training.
Benefits/compensation (if applicable in posting):
- U.S. Hourly Wage Range: $66.11–$90.91; may be eligible for short-term incentives. Potential benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time off, holidays, well-being benefits, up to 80 hours sick time/year, and up to 120 hours paid vacation for new hires.
