How you will contribute:
- Achieve sales quotas by driving new patient starts, sales in outpatient infusion centers and hospitals, and retention of patients on Takeda augmentation treatment.
- Conduct customer engagements with sales presentations; provide technical and administrative product information; educate on neuromuscular conditions and Takeda support resources.
- Understand influence points affecting diagnosis, treatment, and Rx/referral/order.
- Participate in community education events and conferences for healthcare professionals and patients.
- Focus on HCPs (Allergy/Immunology, Pulmonology, Infectious Disease, select Internal Medicine/Primary Care, and Neurologists) and educate/inform on Takeda brands for Primary Immune Deficiency and CIDP.
- Analyze local/regional business and managed market trends to set goals and build business plans.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Patient Services, Alternate Site Team, Integrated Health Systems, Market Access, and National Accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and pull-through opportunities.
- Work compliantly in a matrix environment, handling confidential patient information per company practices and policies.
- Follow PTRB (Patient, Trust, Reputation, Business) in decision-making.

- Ability to conduct community education events; occasional nights/weekends.

Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s (BS/BA).
- 3+ years selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years at Takeda.
- Excellent verbal/written communication; ability to influence across decision makers.
- Business acumen, strategic planning, territory/account management, and prioritization.
- Strong collaboration with cross-functional partners.
- Understanding of payer access/reimbursement at territory/regional/state levels.
- Adaptability; learning agility to apply clinical expertise compliantly.
- Reside within the territory/supported geography.

Preferred requirements:
- 5+ years pharma sales (preferably rare disease).
- Experience with pharma/biologics requiring patient access and market access coordination.
- Consultative/needs-based selling; regulated marketplace experience; use of digital tools/AI-enabled processes.

Travel requirements:
- Drive/fly to accounts; up to 25–50% overnight travel (depending on assignment).

Training requirements:
- Contingent on passing mandatory product training (written/oral exams). Training may require up to 8 hours/day and 40 hours/week. After passing, transitioned to exempt status.

Takeda compensation and benefits summary (explicit):
- USA (FL, Virtual) hourly wage range: $66.11–$90.91.
