About the Role
- Drive Rare Disease franchise sales growth by executing sales strategies.
- Collaborate with Regional Business Leader and customer-facing teams to support patients in their HAE journey.
- Lead demand generation by educating/informing healthcare professionals on Takeda brands for appropriate Hereditary Angioedema patients.
- Manage the complexity of the HAE marketplace; work with matrix partners to help ensure appropriate access to therapy.
How You Will Contribute
- Own business-related activities in assigned geography; achieve sales goals via brand strategies.
- Focus call points on HCPs treating appropriate HAE patients and on supporting early diagnosis and/or treatment through education.
- Conduct business planning using local market analysis and historical analytics.
- Analyze market data to set opportunities and priorities.
- Develop long-term, consultative, needs-based customer engagement and account growth strategies.
- Coordinate with cross-functional HAE teams and matrix partners; motivate extended team members.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree minimum.
- Excellent written and oral communication.
- 5+ years direct selling to healthcare professionals (pharma/biotech/med device or related).
- Strategic territory management success; strong marketplace acumen.
- Knowledge of payer access/reimbursement.
- Ability to work across functions; learning agility.
Key Skills
- Consultative/needs-based selling; matrix collaboration.
- Experience in highly regulated marketplaces.
- Excel/CRM/data analysis; impactful presentations; interpret data for sales strategy.
- Independence in complex account situations.
Travel
- Drive/fly to meetings; 25β50% overnight travel.
Training
- Must pass mandatory product training (written/oral). During training: non-exempt, eligible for overtime; not eligible for sales incentives/production bonuses. Training up to 8 hrs/day, 40 hrs/week. After passing: transition to exempt status.
U.S. Hourly Wage Range (Virtual, USA-TX)
- $66.11β$90.91.
