Rare Disease Account Manager (RAM) for Immunology Autoantibody Diseases (field based), covering the Boston South β Rhode Island territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consistently achieve or exceed sales objectives within the Local Healthcare Market (LHM); report to a Senior District Sales Manager.
- Own the total market by developing and executing strategy to identify patient opportunities, drive demand, and remove fulfillment barriers.
- Build and sustain strong customer relationships; influence key stakeholders.
- Use approved marketing resources to demonstrate clinical value; leverage payer acumen for patient access and affordability.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative market data to assess opportunities and priorities.
- Build LHM-specific business and account plans to drive growth; set local strategy and collaborate with cross-functional LHM partners (TLLs, ABSs, FRMs, KAMs, MSLs).
- Collaborate to gain formulary status for key health systems/centers of excellence; drive adoption/pull-through.
- Build relationships with LHM partners (e.g., local infusion providers) and support educational initiatives.
- Manage territory budget; develop future thought leaders with the TLL.
- Ensure all work is compliant and demonstrate JJIM Values.
Qualifications:
- Education: BA/BS minimum.
- Required: 5+ years field sales in pharmaceuticals; 3+ years specialty sales and/or key account management; collaborative selling ability; high clinical/product/business acumen; proven high sales performance and leadership; strategic planning/execution; ability to adapt; travel up to 75%; live in or relocate to the geography.
- Preferred: experience with large customer types (managed care/large institutions); significant rare disease experience (neurology/hematology); experience prioritizing business drivers and aligning partners; peer leadership/mentorship; superior communication and follow-through.
