Role Summary

The Radioligand Therapies (RLT) Director, Ecosystem Lead is a field-based role that supports key accounts in the eastern United States. The role leads an enterprise mindset across the RLT regional ecosystem to meet objectives, orchestrates the priority ecosystem customer engagement strategy, and collaborates across functions to support patient access and education. This position involves leading the Integrated Field Strategy Team (IFST) and building relationships with senior roles to advance strategic account plans.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the needs of ecosystem archetype customers at all levels and use insights to anticipate trends, articulate business insights, and drive priorities.
  • Develop and drive strategic plans, lead the region’s IFST to advance objectives, and coordinate pre-launch/launch strategy with HQ, accounts, and regional teams.
  • Build strategic customer relationships to engage ecosystem partners and identify opportunities to better serve them.
  • Collaborate with ecosystem C-Suite, D-Suite, and other decision-makers, serving as the primary contact for oncology and partnering with other leads for executive exchanges.
  • Foster internal cross-functional collaboration to remove obstacles and enable solutions, leading communication and enterprise-minded collaboration.
  • Provide alternatives and solutions when challenges arise.
  • Owner of account performance across the RLT platform, driving demand-generation opportunities and influencing cross-functional teams.
  • Establish and lead effective communications between Novartis, ecosystems, internal teams, and leadership, adapting to strategic shifts as needed.
  • Manage multiple complex ecosystem targets.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree; 10+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare or related fields with dispersed sales teams; experience across at least two cross-functional roles.
  • Required: 5+ years in account management across Academic Medical Centers, Integrated Health Systems, GPOs, or Large Community Oncology networks.
  • Required: 2+ years in project management/leadership and translating strategy into execution; 2+ years leading complex cross-functional projects.
  • Required: Recent US experience and deep understanding of the US healthcare ecosystem.
  • Required: Strong ability to collaborate and lead cross-functionally in a matrix environment; valid driver’s license; residence within territory or within 100 miles of the border; ability to travel 60–80%.

Desirable

  • Oncology, Nuclear Medicine, Buy and Bill experience; established relationships with Large Urology Group Practices (LUGPA); experience in advanced Prostate Cancer management.
  • Understanding of macroeconomic healthcare landscape affecting operations, clinical decisions, and finances.
