Position Summary:
Lead and grow a quality control (QC) biochemistry team to ensure safe and compliant laboratory testing. Work closely with production, quality assurance, and cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day QC biochemistry operations to meet testing timelines for product release, raw material, in-process, and stability samples.
- Develop and coach a team of analysts and supervisors to deliver consistent, high-quality results.
- Oversee method transfers, validations, and troubleshooting for analytical assays used in release and stability testing.
- Maintain compliance with GMP and regulatory expectations through strong documentation and audit readiness.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance lab efficiency, quality, and equipment uptime.
- Manage resources including budgets, equipment lifecycle, and sample inventory.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in biochemistry, chemistry, molecular biology, or related scientific discipline.
- 5+ years’ experience in a GMP-regulated analytical laboratory environment.
- 3+ years’ experience in a supervisory or manager role.
- Hands-on experience with chromatography, electrophoresis, protein assays, or similar techniques.
- Demonstrated experience with method validation, method transfer, and laboratory investigations.
- Strong record managing laboratory documentation and supporting audits/inspections.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a relevant scientific field.
- Biopharmaceutical/biologics testing experience.
- Lean or Six Sigma continuous improvement experience.
- Stability study design and sample management experience.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience managing laboratory budgets, equipment qualification, and lifecycle activities.
