QA Technician - 2nd

Role Summary

QA Technician - 2nd shift. The QA Technician responds to quality events, completes related documentation, and determines immediate physical containment and remediation. They assist in identifying, assessing, and containing defects, conduct ASPs, manage the rework process including providing rework instructions, review documentation as necessary, and perform auditing of Perrigo manufacturing and packaging processes to ensure compliance with applicable cGMP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Respond to quality events and determine immediate containment and remediation.
• Identify, assess, and contain defects; conduct ASPs and manage the rework process with instructions.
• Review documentation as necessary and perform auditing of manufacturing and packaging processes for cGMP compliance.

Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma or GED. Preference for 2-year or 4-year degree or progress toward a degree.
• Required: At least 6 months experience in an FDA-regulated environment; 2 years preferred.
• Required: Understanding of and ability to apply cGMPs.
• Required: Working knowledge of SOPs with ability to provide clear direction and interpretation.
• Required: Strong analytical, oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Required: Ability to work independently against multiple deadlines.
• Required: Ability to understand equipment operation and manufacturing/packaging processes.
