Publication Manager, Global Medical Affairs (Horsham, PA)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Scientific Communications Lead (SCL) with vendor management for key Global Medical Affairs (GMAF) psoriatic disease (PsD) Scientific Communications Team (SCT) deliverables, including timelines, tracking, and finance updates
- Assist Medical Writers with upload and quality assurance of materials to Congress websites as needed
- Manage encore abstract process for Global IMM Rheum/Derm/PsD meetings, including warehousing of de novo content, advancing abstract/presenter selection, and liaising with encore vendor/presenting authors
- Coordinate publication status, due dates, and deliverables from multiple vendors, internal publication team, cross-functional teams (e.g., Market Access, TSM), and regional teams to ensure accurate updates to publication plans across GR-DSC
- Liaise with vendors and internal publication team members, cross-functional teams, and regional teams to develop/update bibliographies, publication metrics, and global congress summary documents
- Assist SCL with planning monthly publication team meetings, including slide development and presenter outreach
- Provide guidance and training to regional partners on global processes and systems (e.g., JPUBS, presentation templates)
- Partner with publication vendors to ensure proper documentation for abstracts, posters, and manuscripts on JJIM SP
- Organize and maintain final abstracts, posters, orals, and manuscripts for regional partner reference on JJIM SP
Education:
- BA/BS required; MS preferred
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- 3–4+ years combined relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- 2+ years prior experience in a Medical Affairs or Publications Manager role
- Demonstrated track record of success within Medical Affairs, clinical environment, and/or scientific function
