Operations
Purpose:
- Identify opportunities to reduce operating cost and cycle time and increase efficiency; lead projects to achieve these savings.
- Improve organizational capability through training and mentoring on Business Excellence tools; provide mentoring and leadership to Sponsors and kaizen candidates.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage small projects/assignments or components of larger projects; oversee project coordination, communication, and execution; set/manage stakeholder expectations.
- Develop project plans to deliver within budget, scope, and schedule; execute functional project responsibilities with oversight and guidance.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate analysis of opportunities and risks; identify impacts and recommendations to the business or manufacturing site.
- Lead and align project direction while managing stakeholder relationships and expectations.
- Execute Logistics Software Systems (LSS) project management process, tools, and templates.
- Identify and execute continuous improvement efforts to meet service, quality, and cost objectives.
- Support and motivate teams for timely, successful project delivery.
- Provide training and coaching to sponsors and Kaizen leaders (if needed).
Qualifications:
- 6β10 years business experience; minimum 1 year LSS experience.
- Bachelorβs degree required (preferred: Sciences, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or Business Management).
- Accredited LSS Green Belt or Kaizen Leader Certification required; PMP preferred.
- Financial acumen; ability to assess project ROI.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and conflict resolution skills.
