Job Description
Role: Project Management Analyst
Responsibilities:
- Oversee site-level project governance and portfolio performance; promote continuous improvement.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and portfolio health; identify gaps, underperformance, and emerging risks; recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare regular portfolio status updates, performance summaries, and risk insights for senior/executive/above-site leadership.
- Track project progress, highlight issues for escalation, and ensure timely follow-through on key actions.
- Own and maintain site risk management (risk identification, assessment, escalation, and mitigation monitoring).
- Serve as site crisis coordinator; lead annual crisis management drills.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure accurate portfolio information and clear governance expectations.
- Maintain clear, audit-ready documentation for governance, reporting, risk, and crisis processes.
- Use digital tools/data to improve portfolio reporting efficiency and insightfulness; encourage knowledge sharing and adoption of effective practices.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering, Operations, Life Sciences, or related field.
- 5+ years in PMO/portfolio management support/governance/business excellence/project controls or related environment.
- Experience with governance routines, portfolio reporting, KPI tracking, and risk/issue management.
- Strong project/portfolio management fundamentals and structured reporting.
- Ability to develop dashboards/reports/presentations for senior/executive review.
- Strong analytical/problem-solving skills; excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Smartsheet, Project, or similar tools.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams; understanding of regulated environments and quality/compliance or crisis/risk management processes.
(Manufacturing environment considerations): controlled environment with protective gowning/clothing; remove make-up/jewelry/contact lenses/nail polish/artificial nails; cold/wet; multiple shifts/weekends or supplemental hours; work around specified chemicals.
