PRIMARY OBJECTIVES
The Project Leader (PL) is the primary point of contact for client sponsors regarding scientific design, PDX tumor model selection, and project execution. Responsibilities include preliminary client study design with Business Development; coordinating study execution with Lab and Facilities Operations; and preparing study protocols/updates/analyses/reports. Provides expertise on Tumorgraft/PDX mouse platform use for preclinical drug testing.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Determine tumor model status and provide study timelines to BD Director for SOWs.
- Coordinate implantation of models for studies across all phases.
- Serve as technical lead in client meetings for pre-clinical PDX opportunities.
- Define client scientific requirements; develop study design/protocols per IACUC guidelines and operational ability.
- Recommend tumor model selection; suggest replacements as needed.
- Review SOWs to ensure pricing/scope are captured appropriately.
- Ensure test agents and standards of care are in stock prior to study initiation.
- Organize kickoff and protocol review meetings.
- Monitor ongoing study data; identify/communicate adverse events timely.
- Issue directives to the lab based on data and protocol endpoints.
- Perform data and statistical analysis at study completion.
- Provide weekly updates, data analysis, and final reports to clients.
- Recognize revenue for models/studies via Salesforce.
- Organize sample shipments at end of study.
- Coordinate projects with Business Development, Operations, and other personnel.
- Identify and resolve issues in ongoing studies.
- Participate in TOS team and TOS Lab Ops/PL meetings.
- Represent the company at client meetings and scientific conferences.
- Identify new opportunities and facilitate discussions with existing clients.
- Deliver customer value in a timely manner; ensure protocols are accurate.
- Work independently.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of project management and oncology research; in vivo oncology models (Xenograft/PDX) required.
- Customer service, timely decision-making, interpersonal skills, and tact.
- Ability to balance priorities with high attention to detail.
- Adaptability, self-organization, and accountability.
- Effective oral and written communication.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; Statistical software such as GraphPad Prism.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- M.S. in chemical/biological science or project management preferred.
- B.S. acceptable with appropriate experience.
- 3–5 years in contract research, pre-clinical research, or similar.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Ability to sit for long periods using a computer in a typical office environment (home or multi-level facility).
