Main Responsibilities:
- Provide end-to-end Finance support to Global Project Teams for legacy Blueprint Clinical projects, ensuring accurate costing and evaluation of risks/opportunities for therapeutic area portfolio decisions.
- Financially own four assets: Ayvakit, elenestinib, BLU-808, BLU-924 (total development costs > β¬1B).
- Translate project life/events into a single set of financial metrics (strategic plan, budget, rolling forecasts, actuals); support decision-making for the Global Project Head (GPH).
- Lead valuations and build full project cost tables, NPV, and other financial metrics ahead of governance and strategic exercises.
- Prepare financial position papers for governance/investment decisions.
- Serve as primary Finance contact for GPT members (except CMC/tmu finance), coordinating forward-looking exercises and ensuring financial procedures are followed.
- During the integration period (2H 2026β1H 2027): coordinate R&D integration, oversee R&D PO migration/cutover and Controlling Operations setup; establish clinical trial accrual models (SAGA); establish post-integration development spend envelopes (2027+); partner for synergies/savings, and serve as DEV Finance and R&D Finance representative for integration workstreams.
Qualifications:
- Masterβs/MBA or CPA preferred; scientific background preferred.
- 7+ years Finance/Accounting experience.
- R&D exposure; clinical development experience preferred.
Skills/Competencies (preferred):
- Rare disease or oncology experience.
- Strategic thinking; project finance expertise; crisp business partnering/consultation; team coordination.
- Ability to identify/mitigate financial risks and challenge teams.
- Networking capabilities.
