Role Summary
Project Delivery Manager responsible for leading and managing a portfolio of engineering projects at GSK's Technical R&D sites to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery compliant with safety, quality, and governance standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end project delivery, from initiation to handover, ensuring alignment with GSK standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop business cases, project scopes, budgets, and timelines that deliver agreed benefits to the business.
- Conduct assurance reviews and stage-gate assessments to ensure project compliance with governance standards.
- Lead risk management strategies, value engineering, and mitigation plans to minimize project risks.
- Oversee contractor performance, ensuring safe and compliant execution of all capital projects.
- Drive continuous improvement by leveraging lessons learned and sharing best practices across teams.
- Actively participate in site and regional governance meetings and operational forums.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years' experience managing complex engineering projects, in a highly regulated environment
- Required: Experience analyzing budgets and cash flow forecasts.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, or Business.
- Preferred: Proven ability to deliver projects across the full lifecycle in a technically complex environment.
- Preferred: Experience within pharmaceuticals industry.
- Preferred: Strong understanding of statutory legislation and construction safety.
- Preferred: Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration across teams.
