Responsibilities:
- Territory covers Tupelo, Oxford, Corinth, Southhaven, and the Delta.
- Develop business plan aligned with company sales plans, strategies, and objectives.
- Deliver quality sales presentations to targeted customers.
- Achieve quarterly sales goals while following ethical sales practices and required regulations.
- Understand and demonstrate targeting principles.
- Create pre-call planning strategies for key targets.
- Build positive, interactive relationships with peers, customers, and company managers.
- Ensure high call and field productivity.
- Gather and use information from offices, pharmacists, and others to develop strategies for territory prescribers.
- Use sample programs, literature, and related materials to increase physician awareness of Viatris products.
- Differentiate products from competitors and respond to customer issues confidentially and appropriately.
- Pursue continuous learning and professional development (sales efficiency, communication, and product knowledge).
Qualifications/Required Skills:
- BS or BA degree required.
- Minimum 1 year pharmaceutical sales experience (combination of experience and/or education considered).
- Documented history of successful performance.
- Demonstrated business acumen; influence and negotiation skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication; strong verbal/interpersonal/listening skills.
- Demonstrated leadership; self-starter; ability to work independently and as a team.
- Ability to learn/apply/communicate products and disease states over time.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to travel; must live within territory or reasonable driving distance.
- Valid Driverβs License and acceptable driving record.
- English proficiency (speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing).
Salary range:
- Professional: $100,000β$150,000
- Senior: $108,000β$162,000
