Professional (Senior) Sales Representative, Respiratory – Chattanooga, TN
Responsibilities:
- Chattanooga, TN territory includes Chattanooga, Oak Ridge, and Winchester, TN.
- Develop business plan for assigned territory consistent with sales plans, strategies, and objectives.
- Conduct quality sales presentations to targeted customers.
- Achieve quarterly sales goals while adhering to ethical sales practices and required regulations.
- Understand and demonstrate targeting principles; develop pre-call planning strategy for key targets.
- Build positive, interactive relationships with peers, customers, and company managers.
- Ensure high levels of call and field productivity.
- Gather and utilize information from offices, pharmacists, and others to develop strategies for territory prescribers.
- Leverage sample program, literature, and other items to ensure physician awareness of Viatris products.
- Differentiate products from competitors and respond to customer issues confidentially and appropriately.
- Pursue continuous learning and professional development.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS or BA degree required.
- Minimum 1 year pharmaceutical sales experience (combination of experience/education considered).
- Documented history of successful performance; demonstrated business acumen.
- Success in influence and negotiation; excellent oral and written communication.
- Strong verbal, interpersonal, and listening skills; demonstrated leadership.
- Meet key competencies; ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Self-starter; motivated.
- Ability to learn, apply, and communicate products and disease states over time.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to travel; must live within geography of responsibility or within reasonable driving distance.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- English speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing required.
Compensation (salary range):
- Professional: $100,000–$150,000
- Senior: $108,000–$162,000
