Key responsibilities:
- Develop business plan for assigned territory consistent with Viatris sales plans, strategies, and objectives.
- Conduct quality sales presentations to targeted customers.
- Achieve quarterly sales goals within territory while adhering to ethical sales practices and required regulations.
- Understand and demonstrate targeting principles.
- Develop pre-call planning strategy for key targets.
- Develop positive, interactive relationships with peers, customers, and Company managers.
- Ensure high levels of call and field productivity.
- Gather and utilize information to develop and implement strategies for territory prescribers.
- Leverage sample program, literature, and other items to ensure physician awareness of Viatris products.
- Respond appropriately to customer requests in a timely, reliable manner with consistent information.
- Pursue continuous learning and professional development (sales, communication, and product knowledge).
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales experience (combination of experience/education considered).
- Demonstrated business acumen; influence and negotiation skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication; strong verbal, interpersonal, and listening skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Self-starter and highly motivated.
- Ability to travel throughout territory (may include overnight).
- Must reside in territory geography.
- Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record; authorization and ability to drive a Company leased or authorized rental vehicle.
- Professional/Senior level based on years of relevant pharmaceutical sales experience.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehending, reading, writing).

Compensation (salary range): $100,000–$150,000 (Professional) and $108,000–$162,000 (Senior).
