Key Responsibilities:
- Develop business plan for assigned territory aligned with sales plans, strategies, and objectives.
- Conduct quality sales presentations to targeted customers.
- Achieve quarterly sales goals while adhering to ethical sales practices and required regulations.
- Understand and demonstrate targeting principles; develop pre-call planning strategy for key targets.
- Build positive, interactive relationships with peers, customers, and company managers.
- Ensure high levels of call and field productivity.
- Gather and use information from offices, pharmacists, and others to implement strategies for territory prescribers.
- Leverage sample program, literature, and other items to ensure physician awareness.
- Respond appropriately to customer requests in a timely, reliable manner with consistent information.
- Pursue continuous learning and professional development (sales, communication, product knowledge).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications (Minimum):
- Bachelorβs degree and 1+ years pharmaceutical/healthcare product sales experience (combination of education/experience considered).
- Demonstrated business acumen.
- Proven influence and negotiation skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication; strong verbal/interpersonal/listening skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; self-starter and highly motivated.
- Reside in territory geography; ability to travel throughout territory (may include overnight).
- Valid Driverβs License and acceptable driving record; authorization/ability to drive a company leased vehicle or authorized rental.
- English proficiency (speaking, comprehending, reading, writing).
Compensation:
- Salary range: $100,000β$150,000 (Professional) and $108,000β$162,000 (Senior). Benefits provided.
