Key Responsibilities:
- Develop business plan for assigned territory aligned with Viatris sales plans, strategies, and objectives.
- Conduct sales presentations to targeted customers.
- Achieve quarterly sales goals within territory while adhering to ethical sales practices and required regulations.
- Understand and demonstrate targeting principles.
- Develop pre-call planning strategy for key targets.
- Build positive, interactive relationships with peers, customers, and Company managers.
- Ensure high levels of call and field productivity.
- Gather and utilize information from offices and pharmacists to develop and implement territory prescriber strategies.
- Use sample program, literature, and other materials to ensure physician awareness of Viatris products.
- Respond to customer requests in a timely, reliable manner with consistent information.
- Pursue continuous learning and professional development in sales, communication, and product knowledge.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree and 1+ years pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales experience (combination of experience/education considered).
- Demonstrated business acumen.
- Demonstrated influence and negotiation skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication; strong verbal/interpersonal/listening skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Self-starter and highly motivated.
- Travel throughout territory (may include overnight travel) and must reside in territory geography.
- Valid Driverβs License with acceptable driving record; authorization and ability to drive a Company leased vehicle or authorized rental vehicle.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehending, reading, writing).
Salary Range:
- $100,000β$150,000 (Professional) or $108,000β$162,000 (Senior).
