Professional (Senior) Sales Representative, Pain - Grand Rapids, MI

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop business plan for assigned territory consistent with Viatris sales plans, strategies, and objectives.
- Conduct quality sales presentations to targeted customers.
- Achieve quarterly sales goals in territory while adhering to ethical sales practices and required regulations.
- Understand and demonstrate targeting principles; develop pre-call planning strategy for key targets.
- Build positive, interactive relationships with peers, customers, and Company managers; maintain high call and field productivity.
- Gather and use information from offices, pharmacists, and others to implement territory prescriber strategies.
- Leverage sample program, literature, and related items to ensure physician awareness of Viatris products.
- Respond to customer requests timely and reliably with consistent information.
- Pursue continuous learning and professional development in efficient sales, communication, and product knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree and 1+ years pharmaceutical/healthcare product sales experience (combination of experience/education considered).
- Demonstrated business acumen; influence and negotiation skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication; strong verbal/interpersonal/listening skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member; self-starter and highly motivated.
- Ability to travel throughout territory (may include overnight); must reside in territory geography.
- Valid Driverβs License and acceptable driving record; authorization/ability to drive a Company leased or authorized rental vehicle.
- English proficiency (speaking, comprehending, reading, writing) required.
Compensation (salary range): $100,000β$150,000 (Professional) or $108,000β$162,000 (Senior).
