Operations
Purpose
The Production Technician I executes manufacturing processes in formulation, encapsulation, and primary/secondary packaging with oversight by Supervision. Sets up equipment for routine processes. Identify and resolve performance-related equipment issues while adhering to GMP guidelines and procedures to meet/exceed target OEE. Maintain operating conditions, communicate operational events/issues, and assist with improvements in physical operations and written documents.

Responsibilities
- Proficient in team member responsibilities; comply with local/industry quality and safety standards and GMP policies.
- Work on the line while executing scheduling priorities, daily assignments, and production expectations; operate multiple unit operations; monitor processes and report issues.
- Set up, run, blow, clean, and clear equipment per BOP/Master batch record.
- Perform minor troubleshooting and repairs; complete accurate in-process quality checks.
- Train colleagues on equipment/process for which qualified trainer.
- Follow Environmental Health and Safety procedures and participate in safety initiatives.
- Complete batch record steps following ALCOA and GMP; maintain audit-ready production area and adhere to regulations/company policies.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate/degree preferred.
- 2–3 years cGMP manufacturing experience preferred/required (e.g., food, chemical, petrochemical, consumer products).
- Strong technical aptitude; troubleshoot and communicate issues to operations engineer and mechanical teams.
- Basic computer skills; ability to learn new programs.
- Understanding of quality/compliance; HMI controls, vision inspection, product serialization.
- Preferred: ability to train fellow technicians; experience with POMs, SAP, MAXIMO.
- Ability to stand 8–12 hours/day and lift up to 25 pounds.
