Scope of the Role
- Oversee 20β40 employees on multiple production lines in a pharmaceutical manufacturing/packaging environment.
- Assign tasks, adjust workloads to meet production goals; schedule and monitor training and assess progress.
- Monitor production quality and use leadership skills to solve problems.
- Share specialized knowledge with management to develop and implement ongoing processes/special projects; recommend process changes to eliminate repetitive problems.
- Participate in capacity or budget planning; gather/evaluate information and make/present recommendations.
- Test/evaluate materials or process changes; recommend implementation or rejection.
- Supervise ongoing/special maintenance or installation projects; work with engineering staff to select/evaluate new equipment.
Experience Required
- Bachelorβs degree preferred; otherwise minimum 4 years of supervision experience.
- Strong leadership with communication, performance management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to provide work direction across multiple production areas.
- FDA-regulated industry experience preferred.
- Experience with production work systems, change management, and continuous improvement preferred.
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills.
