Production Specialist l (Sunday - Thursday) 10:30pm to 7:00am

Role Summary

Production Specialist I for a Sunday – Thursday, 10:30pm to 7:00am shift in a fast-paced pharmaceutical finishing operation. Responsible for setup, changeover, packaging, and contributing to a quality-focused, safe production environment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Environmental, Health and Safety procedures and guidelines; use approved tools to minimize contamination in packaging.
• Perform housekeeping on finishing lines; complete line clearances for lot/list changes; blow finishing line/equipment for 1‚Äì2 value streams.
• Assist in setup of automated equipment in primary or secondary packaging areas within 1‚Äì2 value streams.
• Operate automated and semi-automated manufacturing equipment to produce finished product with minimal supervision.
• Perform quality-related tasks during production, including challenges, parameter checks, sample pulls, in-process checks, and bulk/commodity accountability.
• Maintain 6S standards for parts and tooling across the floor.
• Escalate safety, quality, technical and operating issues promptly to appropriate groups.
• Communicate and drive improvement opportunities through cross-functional teams; coordinate with production schedule and understand line priorities with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform minor adjustments to improve equipment efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED required; technical certificate or degree preferred.
• Technical experience and troubleshooting aptitude preferred.
• Commitment to maintaining high quality and compliance with site policies.
• Ability to communicate issues to engineering and mechanical teams.
• Basic computer skills; ability to learn new programs and applications.
• Understanding/experience with POMs, SAP, and MAXIMO preferred.
• Knowledge of cGMP requirements and procedures preferred.
• Physical ability to stand 8‚Äì12 hours per day and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Expect 40‚Äì48 hours per week; up to 60 hours depending on manufacturing demands.
