Production Operator
Responsibilities:
- Execute end-to-end core vaccine production tasks: egg handling (receipt, disinfection, transfer), tissue culture processes (inoculation, harvest, inactivation), and filling operations.
- Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and biosecurity measures during all production hours.
- Perform critical cleaning and disinfection of room surfaces and equipment, including washing, wrapping, and sterilizing glassware via autoclave loading/unloading.
- Complete production records and documentation in accordance with internal SOPs, safety procedures, and external guidelines.
- Use electronic systems (SAP) for material staging; monitor equipment performance and escalate any non-compliances or technical failures to supervisors immediately.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion of Post Offer Exam and Work Simulation (where applicable).
- Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks with high accuracy; strong commitment to following established safety and procedural SOPs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in a science field (Biology or Microbiology preferred).
- Previous exposure to aseptic techniques or laboratory science environments.
- Strong scientific aptitude; excellent fine hand manipulation and eye-hand coordination.
- Effective team collaboration; ability to follow complex written and oral instructions.
- High attention to detail; experience with electronic inventory systems like SAP.
