Production Operations Group Lead (Night Shift)

Responsibilities / How you will contribute
- Monitor labor and capital spending; recommend improvements to manufacturing policies, procedures, and programs.
- Provide guidance, support, and leadership through positive daily interactions.
- Supervise daily production, scheduling, staffing, material management, compliance, training, and audits to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Review and approve batch and system records; support product release timing goals.
- Ensure staff complete training on time and follow cGMP and EHS requirements.
- Lead simple process improvement projects; provide input for new equipment/process integration and validation.
- Resolve technical/material/cGMP issues impacting deadlines; troubleshoot during process deviations.
- Represent the company during FDA inspections.
- Conduct daily gemba walks to reinforce safety and GMP.
- Apply lean manufacturing principles with ongoing coaching.
- Conduct basic auditing tasks under supervision.
- Troubleshoot simple problems with ongoing coaching.

Qualifications / What you bring
- High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years related experience; OR bachelor’s degree in science/engineering (or related technical field) with 2+ years related experience.
- Ability to work across departments and lead collaboratively.
- Strong verbal/written communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
- Understanding of cGMP and other relevant regulatory requirements.
- Ability to understand/apply Continuous Improvement Process concepts (with support).
- Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel.
- FDA-regulated environment experience preferred.

Important considerations (role requirements)
- Night shift (C/D – 5:00 p.m.–5:30 a.m.) on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule; may include weekends/holidays.
- Work in controlled manufacturing areas with gowning/PPE; cold/wet environment; may require respiratory protection.
- Lift/carry/push/pull up to 30 lbs. (with assistance); stand/walk 8–12 hours across site.
- Remove makeup, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish/artificial nails in manufacturing environment.
- Work around chemicals; indoor, clean room, and cool/hot storage conditions; work around moving equipment; may work in confined areas.
