Product Owner – Digital Foundation
Responsibilities:
- Lead multiple workstreams within enterprise transformation and strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment to business priorities, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
- Partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to assess business needs, define action plans, and implement solutions that improve organizational performance.
- Support AI-enabled and technology-driven initiatives by developing adoption strategies to encourage stakeholder engagement with tools and applications.
- Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring items are clearly defined, prioritized, and aligned to business objectives.
- Translate complex business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable requirements for technical teams.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, QA, and business partners to support successful product development and delivery.
- Lead or support sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and other agile ceremonies as needed.
- Monitor product performance, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Communicate product vision, roadmap, priorities, risks, and release plans to stakeholders.
- Drive change management and adoption efforts for new digital foundation products, tools, and processes.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree with 7 years’ experience; or Master’s degree with 6 years’ experience; or PhD with 2 years’ experience.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional workstreams and driving alignment across stakeholders.
- Strong executive communication skills.
- Experience working with software engineering teams in an Agile environment.
- Familiarity with APIs, data flows, system integrations, or cloud-based products.
- Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or regulated environments.
Preferred:
- Experience with product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
