Role Summary

The Product Marketing Manager will support the development and tactical execution of healthcare professional (HCP) and patient-focused marketing initiatives within Amneal's growing Specialty portfolio, with an initial focus on brands in Endocrinology and Neurology (Headache Disorders). This role will serve as a key contributor to the brand planning process, tactical execution, and cross-functional coordination including training meetings and conference management. The individual will be responsible for execution of multi-channel marketing programs—including advisory boards, professional conferences, non-personal promotion, and sales force initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Tactical Execution of Marketing Programs:
    • Lead the development and execution of omnichannel promotional initiatives (personal and non-personal), ensuring alignment to brand strategy and achievement of business objectives. Includes oversight of agency partners, promotional material development, review KPIs and evaluate optimization of tactics based on performance data.
    • Candidate should also feel comfortable developing materials (PowerPoint Presentations and other documents) for internal and external use without agency involvement.
    • Candidate should be comfortable with overseeing digital and print programs. Assist with managing healthcare provider consulting agreements and advisory engagements.
  • Budget & Vendor Management:
    • Manage brand budgets, including PO generation, accruals, and invoice reconciliation.
    • Manage agency/vendor engagements.
    • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
    • Review monthly reports from finance to confirm accuracy and provide quarterly forecasts.
    • Provide quarterly spend reports for compliance.
  • Promotional Materials Review & Compliance:
    • Manage the end-to-end promotional review process, including routing through Veeva PromoMats and collaboration with Medical, Legal, and Regulatory teams to ensure compliant, timely approvals.
    • Communicate field notifications and ensure proper use and replacement of materials.
  • Events and Conferences:
    • Co-lead planning and execution of Amneal’s presence at national and regional medical meetings (5–7/year).
    • Coordinate logistics, materials, staffing, and post-conference follow-up if applicable.
  • Strategic Planning & Innovation:
    • Support the development of the annual strategic and tactical marketing plans and corresponding promotional budgets for assigned brands.
    • Identify process improvements and support implementation of new tools or systems.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Medical, Commercial Analytics, Market Access, etc.) to enhance marketing effectiveness.
  • Field Engagement & Sales Training Support:
    • Serve as a liaison to the field sales teams.
    • Support Senior Director, Marketing by working with cross-functional team to develop, coordinate, and execute National Field Sales Meetings and Product Launch Meetings (2-3x/year).
    • Assist with Initial Sales Training presentations (2–8/year) for new hires.
    • Should have experience presenting to large groups.
    • Own inventory management to ensure sales force materials are available and approved for use.
    • Coordinate Field Advisory Board calls to review resources, learn best practices, and gain suggestions on resources and activities.
  • Market Research and Competitive Intelligence:
    • Analyze market research and competitive data to inform brand strategy.
    • Able to translate insights into actionable recommendations for marketing tactics.
    • Knowledgeable and able to monitor market trends and identify emerging opportunities or threats.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) Bachelor's degree in a related field; equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree - Required

Experience

  • At least 4 years of pharmaceutical experience required (in either field sales, brand management, advertising agency).
  • At least 4 years of pharmaceutical Product Manager experience in Neurology or Endocrinology required
