Purpose:
The Manager, Procurement Management manages the procurement process from strategic sourcing to contracting, aligned with category strategic vision. Oversees supplier selection/management, ensures compliance with procurement policies, and executes tactical supplier diversity and sustainability processes.
Responsibilities:
- Manage activities from strategic sourcing to contracting; ensure execution aligns with category strategic vision.
- Partner with Category Manager and Associate Directors to execute Indirect Capital subcategory procurement strategies.
- Maintain compliance with procurement policy; execute supplier diversity and sustainability processes.
- Drive supplier management aligned to SRM strategy; foster collaborative supplier interactions.
- Implement supplier risk mitigation plans; provide tactical input on supplier performance and communicate procurement risks.
- Lead contract execution excellence across source-to-contract and requisition-to-pay; identify process inefficiencies.
- Enable savings and assurance of supply; manage savings leakage across downstream procurement processes.
- Administer continuous improvement projects initiated by the PSC team.
- Lead and develop Specialists; set performance targets, coach, and evaluate performance.
- Partner with Procurement leaders and business partners on skillsets, workforce requirements, capability needs, and staffing goals.
Qualifications:
- Required: Experience with capital expenditure (capex) projects/processes, including developing/evaluating/managing business cases.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (Engineering background preferred).
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in procurement, supply chain, or related business/operations.
- Experience managing teams and strong understanding of procurement operations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Pharmaceutical industry knowledge preferred.
