Purpose:
Manager, Procurement Management is responsible for managing the procurement process from strategic sourcing to contracting, ensuring detailed execution aligned with category strategic vision. Oversees supplier selection and management, compliance with procurement policies, and tactical processes for supplier diversity and sustainability.
Responsibilities:
- Manage activities from strategic sourcing to contracting, aligned with category strategic vision.
- Partner with Category Manager and Associate Directors to execute Indirect Capital subcategory-specific procurement strategies.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policy; execute tactical processes supporting supplier diversity and sustainability.
- Drive supplier management aligned to the SRM strategy; foster collaborative, innovative supplier interactions.
- Implement supplier risk mitigation plans; provide tactical input on supplier performance and communicate procurement risks.
- Ensure excellence in contract execution (source-to-contract; requisition-to-pay) and identify inefficiencies in process design/execution.
- Enable savings and assurance of supply; manage savings leakage across downstream procurement processes.
- Administer continuous improvement projects initiated by the PSC team.
- Lead and coach a team of Specialists; set performance targets and evaluate performance.
- Partner with procurement leaders and business partners to define skillsets, workforce requirements, capability needs, and staffing goals.
Qualifications:
- Experience developing/evaluating/managing capex business cases is required.
- Bachelorβs degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field; engineering background preferred.
- Minimum 7 years in procurement, supply chain, or related operations/business function.
- Team management experience and comprehensive understanding of procurement operations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Pharmaceutical industry knowledge preferred.
