Responsibilities:
- Safely operate highly automated equipment used to fill syringes and perform required area cleaning.
- Model current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and ensure compliance with all safety standards.
- Support the Line Lead in developing operators and identifying opportunities for operational improvement.
Key Objectives:
- Adhere to RTP Plant safety policies/procedures and contribute to a safe work environment.
- Follow SOPs and current GMPs to ensure product quality.
- Support leadership on the manufacturing floor to maintain high safety, quality, and productivity.
- Monitor documentation and product quality; properly document activities and report issues to supervision.
- Support troubleshooting and serve as a reliable point of contact for issue escalation.
- Assist Supervisor with development and training of shift operators.
- Drive departmental objectives: improve safety performance, reduce deviations, improve productivity, and ensure training compliance.
Basic Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year relevant experience (education may be substituted for experience with manager discretion).
Additional Skills/Preferences:
- Ability to train and coach others.
- Effective written/verbal communication.
- Flexibility and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills (desktop software).
- 3+ years relevant experience in pharmaceutical or equivalent regulated industry.
- Scientific/technical degrees or certifications.
- Knowledge of CGMPs.
- Prior experience with solution filling equipment and/or isolator technology.
- Prior experience with pre-filled syringe (PFS) technology.
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems and electronic batch release.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
Additional Information:
- Lilly Research Triangle Park site.
- Wear safety equipment (e.g., glasses, shoes, gloves).
- Work 12-hour night shifts (2-2-3 schedule) and off-shift training.
- Overtime as required; travel <5% for training.
Compensation/Benefits (as stated):
- Anticipated wage: $17.30β$34.38.
