Your Role: Process Operator - Packaging (Companion Animal Operations)
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor packaging equipment (thermoformers, cartoners); troubleshoot and identify root causes using operational data.
- Perform routine production support (fork truck operation, loading foils/components, cleaning equipment and production area).
- Ensure production complies with cGMP and ISO 9000, including cleaning and housekeeping.
- Complete accurate documentation/verification for batch records, SOPs, equipment logs, and sample submissions.
- Follow safety procedures; communicate issues/process improvements and support safety/quality initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED.
- Experience with mechanical equipment, troubleshooting, and production operations.
- Strong troubleshooting skills; mechanical knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with thermoforming and cartoning packaging equipment.
- Experience with Veeva, Delta V, PI Data Historian, SAP, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
- Packaging operations experience.
- Experience troubleshooting vacuum systems, labeling, and vision systems.
Additional Information:
- Location: Clinton, IN Manufacturing Site.
- 12-hour rotating swing shift (Days/Nights); may adjust; some overtime required.
- Minimal travel for training/FAT.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States; no anticipated visa sponsorship (e.g., H-1B, F-1/OPT, TN).
- Fixed duration: one-year contract, renewable up to 4 years; potential full-time based on performance/business needs.
Sign-on bonus: $2,500.
