Position Summary:
You will operate and maintain manufacturing equipment to deliver high-quality products safely and reliably.
Responsibilities:
- Operate, clean, and maintain production equipment following SOPs, safety rules, and batch documentation.
- Monitor equipment performance and product quality; report/escalate issues affecting safety or output.
- Perform routine changeovers and start-of-batch activities to meet production specifications.
- Complete production records and basic system entries accurately and on time.
- Support continuous improvement by suggesting practical fixes and participating in problem solving.
- Troubleshoot minor production stoppages with teammates/supervisors and hand off technical issues.
- Replenish consumable supplies, clean equipment, and perform duties needed by the business.
- Monitor excessive rejects/stoppages and use performance data to escalate problems affecting quality, safety, and line performance.
- Deliver safety/quality/waste/performance objectives and recommend process improvement/alternative methods.
- Demonstrate expert operations/process knowledge; troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment stoppages.
- Coordinate daily responsibilities with others, including assisting troubleshooting and providing info to the next supervisory level.
- Describe technological theory of operation and product flow; identify purpose of sensors and proximity devices.
- Conduct equipment set up, changeovers, and start-of-batch activities to designed specifications.
- Become certified on multiple technologies as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1+ year of manufacturing/production experience.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in regulated manufacturing.
- Site-based work; shift patterns and up to 12.5-hour shifts.
- Basic reading/writing/math; basic computer skills for data entry/training systems.
- Equipment set-up/changeovers/routine operational checks; mechanical aptitude; read gauges/instrumentation.
- Familiarity with HMI/production data systems; follow technical documentation/inspection readiness.
- Continuous improvement exposure (e.g., 5S/standard work).
Working Arrangement:
- On-site in the United States; hybrid/remote not available; shifts match site needs.
