Position Summary:
The ideal candidate will use industry best practices and expertise in regulatory requirements to measure, analyze, and specify requirements that lead to best-in-class quality products and design for manufacturing. Work cross-functionally to execute the validation plan and required material qualifications.

Position Responsibilities:
- Lead nonconformance investigations and drive CAPA using structured RCA (e.g., 5-Why, fishbone, fault tree) and Lean Six Sigma tools.
- Support manufacturing and troubleshoot process-related issues.
- Lead projects to develop and optimize consumables used in diagnostic products, ensuring deliverables and timelines are met (30%).
- Implement changes: initiate change control, perform impact assessments, and evaluate risk for nonconformances/process improvements.
- Assist vendors with deviations and CAPAs to meet delivery timelines.
- Develop and execute protocols and reports to quality equipment/processes; use risk-based validation approaches (acceptance criteria and sample sizes).
- Collaborate with site operations to increase production capacity or deliver productivity savings of consumable components.
- Support continuous improvement projects.
- Collaborate with procurement to identify and qualify new vendors.

Education & Experience:
- BS in Science or Engineering (Mechanical and Chemical preferred) or equivalent process engineering experience.
- Advanced degree or training/certification in process engineering preferred.
- 5+ years’ GMP manufacturing experience, preferably in diagnostics or bi/odevice.

Technical Skills Requirements:
- Understanding of cGMP; Lean/Six Sigma (Greenbelt plus).
- Project management; team and independent work.
- Statistical analysis/DOE plus.
- Data-driven decision-making; strong written/oral communication.
- Proficient in English; Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint.

Work Environment:
On-site in manufacturing; lift up to 50 lbs; stand/walk for extended periods; PPE required.

Benefits/Compensation:
- U.S. base salary range: $77,000–$118,000.
- Eligible for short-term incentive compensation.
- Benefits: healthcare/insurance day one, 401K match with profit-sharing, 4 weeks vacation.
