About The Role
The Process Development Engineer IV supports upstream cell culture development for early- and late-stage biotherapeutics programs. Design and execute studies, generate and interpret data, and advance processes using bench-top bioreactors, Ambr microscale bioreactors, shake flasks, WAVE bioreactors, and high-throughput purification systems. Work cross-functionally with upstream, downstream, and analytical teams; contribute to technical documentation and use process control systems such as DeltaV. Explore emerging tools including AI and in silico approaches to improve development speed and efficiency.
How you will contribute
- Design and execute upstream development studies
- Operate and troubleshoot cell culture systems (bioreactors, Ambr, shake flasks, WAVE, high-throughput purification)
- Use DeltaV or similar control systems for process execution and data collection
- Maintain electronic laboratory notebook documentation
- Analyze data, interpret results, and summarize findings
- Prepare technical reports and study summaries
- Learn/apply AI and in silico tools
