Process Control and Automation Engineer (PCAE-BMS/HVAC)

Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, improve, verify, and qualify Building Management and HVAC Control Automation solutions for the Lebanon API Manufacturing site (LP1).
- Manage and implement HW/SW application upgrades/updates, including creation/modification of control strategies and data collection models.
- Support validation/qualification and verification of deliverables.
- Maintain documentation packages for applications.
- Work safely per HSE standards; perform work per GMPs and procedures.
- Partner with the process team: understand priorities/issues, respond to decisions, deliver on time.
- Develop system requirements and designs; develop GMP-compliant code.
- Execute changes and resolve issues to keep systems up-to-date, reliable, and compliant.
- Prioritize work for business impact; provide input for continuous improvement (e.g., equipment reliability).
- Other tasks assigned by supervisor.

Basic Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer sciences, or related field.
- 5+ years BMS/HVAC controls automation experience (JCI, Honeywell, Siemens, Andover).
- 3+ years Computer System Validation (CSV).
- 3+ years computer systems & software platforms administration.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. full-time; no visa sponsorship.

Additional Skills/Preferences
- Interpersonal/communication skills; willing to learn outside automation; develop expertise in production processes, equipment code, and control technologies.
- Plus: automation/IT certifications (PAE, PCAE, CAN, CNE, VMP, etc.); Professional Engineering license.
- Rockwell: Control Studio 5000/Logix/FactoryTalk SE/ME/Asset Center; Aveva PI: PI Historian/PI Vision/Event Frameworks/Logmate; IT platform support (server administration/health monitoring, LAN/network troubleshooting, virtual HW setup).

Compensation/Benefits (if applicable)
- Anticipated wage: $66,000–$171,600; eligible for company bonus and comprehensive benefits (401(k), medical/dental/vision, life insurance, time off, and well-being benefits).
